Anne's Place has moved to Monopoli in Puglia. This area of Italy boast some of the best food, and excellent wines, a wonderful coastline on the Adriatic. And we have Trulli.

We are outside of the city of Monopoli (some 12 km) on a peaceful Contrada, but within easy reach of everything.

We have two apartments, both airconditioned, one having a double bedroom, small kitchen and modern bathroom, the other having two double rooms (in the trulli), a kitchen diner and bathroom.

Puglia is not a place you pass through to go somewhere else. If you want to appreciate it, you have to come on purpose, here into the heel of Italy. Here is the last strip of land which, according to legend, must either be visited whilst you are alive, or by your soul when you are dead. These land are very special, seductively attractive, unique, unrepeatable and marvellous.

Monopoli (literally the "only City") is renowned as a city of tourism, full of friendly folk. Anne's Place is in the countryside just outside, where you can appreciate the loveliness of the land.

Benefit from the authenticity of its food, its tranquillity and cleanliness, and enjoy being in the real Italy.

We are close to Alberobello, Locorotondo, Castellana Grotte, and many other wonderful places in Puglia

Peace and Tranquillity - use Anne's Place as the accommodation and your base for exploring the whole of Puglia, or simply walking. Relax with us, return after a day touring to a comfortable house, watch a movie from our library, listen to music or watch satellite TV.

All too often, booking accommodation in Italy can be difficult. Places require a deposit, and want your credit card faxed to them, or insist on a personal check, or ask you to use an antiquated system of transferring money into the Italian Post Office. Not so with Anne's Place, we aren't interested in your mother's maiden name, or your social security number, not even the name of your favourite dog (or what colour it is). We trust people to notify us if they decide, for any reason, to cancel, in good time. Yes, it has failed us a couple of times, but the vast majority of you are honest, and will return the trust we have in you.
